Sisters of St. Zelie

"We shall find our little ones again up above,"   - St. Zélie Martin

To Console the Sorrowing Mother

St Zélie writes in terms of incomparable tenderness and beauty:

"I am deeply grieved at the misfortune that has just struck you. Truly, you are sorely tried! It is one of your first troubles, my poor, dear sister. May our good Lord grant you resignation to His holy will. Your dear little child is with Him. He sees you, he loves you, and you will find him again one day. That is the great comfort I felt and still feel."

"It was especially at the death of the first that I was most vividly aware of the happiness of having a child in Heaven. For God showed me in a sensible manner that He accepted my sacrifice. Through my first little angel, I obtained a very extraordinary grace."

Who We Are

We are the "dear sister" to whom St. Zelie writes to in her letter above.  We have gone through the unfortunate and heartbreaking experience of losing a baby before we ever got to meet them. It's hard, it's confusing, and it can be lonely.

We cook and deliver meals to families in their time of loss, we offer a listening ear over a coffee date or walk in the park, we upkeep the cry room at church, and we organize a Night of Healing prayer service during October for everyone in our community who has experienced this type of loss.

For those who are going through a miscarriage, infant loss, or stillbirth right now and want support from Father Phil and our ministry, you can fill out this form and we will contact you soon.

For those who want to join the ministry in supporting moms and families who are going through loss, click here to fill out a form and we will contact you soon!

Whether you formally reach out to us or not, please know that we are grieving your baby and praying for you, sweet sister.
